Overcast Day

Rodeo Beach in Marin County California.  En Plein Air with the California Art Club on a typical bay area (SF) day.  There where so many scenes that I wanted to paint.  I spent part of my time taking pictures to have for work in my studio back in the mountain town where I was living at the time.  It was one of the first times I painted with a group after graduating from the Academy of Art.

I really felt I began to understand waves breaking that day.

It was a wonderful day painting!
