The horns are almost clean!  There are a couple of issues that are cause for concern.

This tip is hard to clean, it is still almost black. Although it does answer one question of how porous the horn is. (answer: not very) I'll need to take care so that I don't loose any pieces.

This is up nearer the skull.  In the center you can see to dark triangle, those are cracks.  My concern is that they may break off in the same way shale flakes off.

The of course there are all the ridges.  I'm almost certain dirt remains in those cracks.  With cracks in the horns I don't want to over saturate them with water.  Hey I'm an artist I don't know these things!  But I can find out.

There is still cotton from the cotton balls used to soak up the dirty water.  That will be easy to remove later.
