It has felt really good to have a set time to paint 4 to 5 days a week.  10AM to noon Monday through Thursday last week.  This is week has started out on track too.  I guess I am one of those who thrive in routine!  The Pt Lobos painting is close to being finished and that feels good.  Pt Lobos was started 'en plein air' on a California Art Club paint out.  Did I say in my last post that it did not go well?  It has now turned into a painting I like and a times I am in a hurry to finish it.

The rocks have real believable structure. The ocean is a good color and has motion to it, well as much as unfinished waves can.  The back ground is almost there as well, maybe just a few strokes more.  But this posted started out as a statement about painting 4 to 5 times a week.  I feel a sense of accomplishment that I am not letting other interests get in the way of painting.  I am now in a place that has wonderful scenes to paint and I want to paint them all and I feel a sense of urgency to paint more.
