We all have dry spells! Some get accepted into show right out of school. Others it is a slow steady progress to important shows. Some never seem to make it. I seem to fall into the latter. I just keep painting - I have to. It is like breathing! I also keep studying and looking at work I admire. Hoping and praying my day will come.

It is more than a good feeling when you have gone for months or years without getting into an important show. I was bracing myself for another rejection letter when the email came today. I Was accepted, or should I say my painting was. We were told the museum would only accept one per artist, but we could submit 3. So full of hope I submitted 3. Not one, but 2 were accepted! What a sweet sweet feeling.
